Start - Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs - Select and uninstall Yahoo Toolbar. You don't need it anyway, especially if you're using a good browser like Firefox or Opera.

if you are using internet explorer, stop using it, go over to mozilla.com and look for firefox, download it and install it. Believe me, it is safer, faster, and it has a great pop up blocker. Say hello to less spyware and viruses. Or you can just right click on the top of internet explorer and uncheck yahoo toolbar.
Give firefox a shot.
