in the way it will remove a question that goes against the companys freedom of speach..ie they allow people to be racist and homophobic but not the opposite?

Yes, the site is biased. You have to realize that American attitudes towards certain topics are quite different from those of Europeans, Australians, Asians and Indians (American Indians in particular). Those topics include sex, religion and government, and Americans are astonishingly vehement regarding them. We kill each other over these topics while sanctimoniously chastising the rest of the world for their human rights abuses. Yahoo's income largely derives from Americans, so from a strictly business viewpoint, it pays for 'em to fellate American sensibilities. Sad, and more than a little repugnant, but that's the way it is.

No, this site is not biased. They allow people to report extreme abuse but I honestly have never seen any censorship for any reasons other than extreme hate-filled racism. What do you mean by the "opposite" of racist or homophobic? I have seen many people on here defend the rights of homosexuals and minorities.

What proof do you have that they allow racism and other hate speech?
There is so much to monitor, that all they do is respond to posts that are flagged with the "Report Abuse". Often, a post can go several hours before it is looked at.
Could it be that you saw one last for a few hours, and assumed that it was never deleted? Also don't forget that if it's not flagged, will likely never be looked at...
