For foundation, I recently tried Cover Girl-Advanced Radiance. I loved it. It has an SPF 10 sunscreen and also contains Olay Reginerist ingredients. It feels like silk when you put it on and covers well, but is not thick. They have a powder that goes with it.

BUT, for very dramatic make up. I LOVE Joe Blasco. If you know how to apply ALL make up using brushes only (even eyeliner) it is wonderful. It is theatrical/professional make up that lasts forever. I use it when I am in a wedding or any time I know I am getting my pic taken a lot. The makeup absorbs the light, not reflects it so I never have that "flash face" where your face is lighter than the rest of you. (That is caused by the light reflecting ingredients in everyday makeup.)

Use Mary Kay on a daily basis cause it so simple, yet so beautiful. At night (when I go out) I use MAC...the stuff is very bright and exciting.

Both are average price products that are great for any skin type.

Try all sorts of different kinds, i use a variety of different kinds, moslty cheaper kinds like N.Y.C., Cover Girl and Tru, But every so often, I splurge if i find a Lise Watier eyeshadow i love. So dont choose only one brand, find what you like, even if that means having 5 different brands
