There is plenty of historical evidence (besides the Bible) to support the fact that a man named Jesus lived about 2000 years ago.

There is not any concrete proof that there is a God, but there is plenty of evidence. The most compelling proof is the universe itself. If this is all a random accident, then where is the randomness? Why are there laws of physics that work every time? If there is no God, then how come the universe is not just random particles acting randomly? How could life exist in a universe of random non-living particles?

If there is no God, then you are no different than a forest fire. You are just a chemical reaction that consumes fuel to sustain itself. Without God, there is no such thing as love, hate, forgiveness, or even intelligent thought. It is all just hormones and chemicals and random electical discharges that randomly occur and just happen to sustain the chemical reaction that is you. Is that a universe that you live in, or want to?

Did you ever meet Julius Caesar? Or see him, or hear him speak? Then give me proof he existed. You have to believe that the people who did and gave accounts of what he did. This is the same with God and Jesus. Or are all historians "flim flam artists" or "con men" who need to be arrested?

Honestly, I'm not contouring your premise, but I could ask the same question and slip in Global Warming where you have GOD.
