For a unique style, try anything by Wes Anderson. Rushmore is my personal favorite; The Royal Tennenbaums is very good too. Anderson is a very talented and interesting director- both his storylines and the way the movies are shot is interesting.

I also reccomend "The Young Poisoners Handbook" if you can find it. Interesting.

And if you want something that really makes you think, give "I ♥ Huckabees" a shot. It's existential =]

The Libertine...if you can stand a strong sexual theme. It's the story of John Wilmot, Earl of Rochester. Amazing acting and it makes you think long and hard about why someone brilliant would hate their life and the world so much that they would become self-destructive and throw it all away. The theme of the movie leans heavily on sex and alcoholism, so it's not for everyone.

And anything with Johnny Depp in it, is alright with me. :)

"Ladies an announcement. I am up for it all the time. This is not a boast, it is bone...hard...medical fact."
~Johnny Depp as John Wilmot
