Ive been thinking of gettin a brizilian bikini wax (removal of ALL the hair in bikini area) I shave now but not all of it. I was wondering if anyone has had it done and what their experience with it was. Also how do i transition from shaving to waxing. Should i let it grow out fully before trying this new thing

I have not done it, but my wife has. She loves it and gets it done all the time now.
Personally, I love it too. Try it once (hair does just grow back) and see if you like it. After all, what is the risk?

I've never gotten waxed, only because I'm germaphobic. But I was watching the news one time and they said STD's can get transmitted from waxing. Reason being is because the stick they use to apply the wax is constantly dipped back into the wax, from person to person. So unless you find a salon or waxing place that is very clean, go for it. Otherwise...I would just Nair it.

You have to let it grow a little, the hair is susposed to be a 1/4 inch long, I think, anyway there has to be enough hair for the wa to hold on to. I have had it done and it hurts but it looks and feels alot better than shaving. After a while you get used to the pain of having it done but trust me it deos hurt, alot.

I have had my lip and eyebrows waxed, and I got ingrown hairs. I'd hate to have that in the bikini area.

You're supposed to let it grow out quarter of an inch. Also it hurts really bad, i did it and i didn't finish it all. Good luck. I loved it when I was done but I hated doing it.

Ouch...I've never had a wax but...ouch.
You don't have to let your pubic hair grow all the way out, but you do need enough for the wax to grab on to...hope it works out as you desire...

Not sure of all the logistics there but a girl I dated swears by the laser hair removal...She says a little pricy but worth it.

if you have something very hairy then u should wax if u dont have alot of hair then u should not worry about it
