Depending on the fabric, I use either Fantastic spray cleaner (more delicate) or Lestoil. Put a little on the spots, rub it in then wash as normal. Do not put in dryer! If possible lay the clothes out in the sunlight which works wonders on the yellow stains.
You may have to do this more then once. Good luck!

the best way is to prevent it don't smoke ,cook or have a gas stove to close to closet and make sure closet is closed tight most of those stains come from these reasons

Try some Shout or Spray-N-Wash
