THAT'S THE SCARY PART - They are everyone.
They're good people with momentary weaknesses and they are sick, disgusting predators who do nothing but hunt children to kill and destroy. So, we have them from one end of the scale to the other, the HARD PART is figuring out which one is the "normal looking ones," to me THOSE ARE THE SCARIEST! Those are the ones that we take our kids too for piano lessons, teach our kids at school, etc. (by the way, MOST molesters are STRAIGHT males, thank you).
So, I think the moral is; don't take ANYONE for granted or for who THEY say they are. After all, you can always make new friends, YOU ONLY GET SO MANY CHILDREN!

Sorry my friend but you will always have the worry's. As for your question I believe they are all three, but one thing for sure they know they are doing wrong. Unfortunately we have no way of recognising them till its too late, I suggest you stay close to your daughter in a spiritual and mental way (which i'm sure you do already) so she has someone to trust with all her problems no matter how embarrasing or what the consequences may be. There cannot be an easy answer to such a nasty problem, may your god go with you.

I think the most important things you can do for your daughter is to make sure she dresses modestly (so many dads sadly allow their daughters to dress like hookers with low cut tops, sleeveless shirts and miniskirts or tight pants) and to make sure she is always in good company. Also teach her to respect herself and always leave a situation in which she feels might be dangerous.
It is true that the devil is stronger today than he was in past ages. Many men and women have sucumb to his vile encouragements. And society enables these perverts by telling young women that they need to dress like little trollups. It's a sad situation all around.

People who want sex with children have that as their SEXUAL PREFERENCE. just like homosexuals, it is in their nature and biology. It is impossible at this time to re-orient them. You will just have to always be mindful. Remember, most child molesters are those who have easy access to your kid, such as family members, friends, babysitters, youth leaders, etc.
Most child molesters are wired differently in the brain. Many have been molested themselves. Most seem perfectly normal, so they are hard to spot. If you engage in conversation with them, and they think you too are a molester, you may notice a change in there mannerisms. They almost looked possessed. Most child molesters are married straight men and women.

I believe they are mentally ill in regards to self control that remains to be seen. I once dated a man I thought to be a good, upstanding citizen. I came to find out a year later he was into beastiality and kiddie porn. Sick bastard! He along with others like him should fry as far as I'm concerned.

I'd say theyre a mix of all.
Alot of these freak though abuse family members kidnapping others may not be likely. Depends on how well the reason.
I think they should be executed once guilty though.

i am a criminal justice major, and one of my required classes was about deviant behavior. most child molesters were molested as children. they receive inappropriate conditioning and it continues through out their life. i don't believe that any of those people can ever be cured.

It's probably an unhealthy mix of both. I have 3 kids...I know exactly where you're coming from.
