If you have a full Category A (motorcycle) licence, or a full Category B (car) licence, you will automatically have Category B1 (trike) entitlement as well.

Yes you can drive a trike with a full UK driving licence, a trike is the grey area between a car and a bike, as you can drive a three wheel car, (eg. a reliant robin) on only a full bike licence, but i don't know why anyone would drive a robin if they could ride a bike?. That's why there are a lot more trikes now, so you can ride a bike like motor, without taking a test.

There's another Yahoo query more or less on this same subject. You don't say where you mean to drive -- in the UK, in India, or in some other place.

General EU (and hence UK) rules are discussed in the reply to the other (later) query (see below). An ordinary UK (B) licence covers a motorcycle up to 50 cc. After that you need an (A) licence.

I doubt that a licence gives you more rights in a second country than it does in the country of issue, but there is a probable exception to that if the second country doesn't issue special motorcycle licences.

No you cant, UNLESS it has a reverse gear.
On a full UK driving licence you can only ride a 50cc bike unless you take your CBT, then you can go up to 125cc.

Bummer eh
