An old riddle goes like this: A man without eyes saw plums on a tree. He did not take plums and he did not leave plums .
How could this be ?

He didn't have EYES (plural) so he had one eye.
He saw PLUMS (plural)
He didn't LEAVE PLUMS (plural) which means he saw 2 and took one.
