...my brother plays a lot of free online games, would that count as downloading because my internet package tells me that i cannot exceed a 1GB limit which if exceeded they will charge (a lot!). So are free online games counted as downloading when it says that the game is loading?

I keep getting mixed answers!

Yeah, it counts. Those games are usually in Flash, and it is downloading an .swf file to your machine. They are usually not all that big though, so that one gig limit should not be a problem.

You'll find out soon enough when the bill comes in. Yes, downloading is downloading.

Yes you do ..... BUT ...

Why are you on a 1gig limit , you need to change your ISP .... Tiscali have unlimited download for £14.99 and theres loads of others that do similar.

Change your ISP.

no, because its probably just the packet u (or yr mom n dad) bought. And if it gets exceeded, then u will have to pay more.

No, it loads, not downloads. If its not physically on your computer your fine.
