What do you think would happen in 128 years that would make sex a thing of the past?

Language does change and evolve, but sex is a pretty basic word describing a pretty basic act. It is unlikely to change.

Words that tend to change involve things like technology or fashion - things that change frequently. The word sex has existed as long as the English language and will most likely still exist when the language dies out.

It will always be an English word. If we're all speaking a different language in the future, we can look back in an English dictionary from 2006 and sex will still be a word.

With the kind of deterioration in the English grammar and language - the doubt is genuine. But the issue is this is the simplest word to explain what everyone wants. Just in three letters - right ?
So it may not change.

I would not mind anything as long as the act is continued - dont want to be worried with words

I think it may evolve, but only in meaning. By that point I imagine sex will refer only to intercourse, and not gender anymore, since less and less people are using it to mean gender.
