I am on birth control and not really good at taking it at the same time everyday and sometimes I forget it all together. Thats our only form of protection what are the odds I could get pregnant. If I am pregnant how will I know because I keep taking the pill and I don't have periods every month its like every 4 months. I have gained a little weight I am nervous to take a test but know I should what is someone elses opinion. Would it hurt the baby if I am prego since I kept taking my birth control?? HELP??

I got pregnant on the pill because of the same reasons you are nervous. I forgot to take mine, then doubled up, took at odd times, and never used back up protection when I knew I had screwed up on the pill. It's scary to take that pregnancy test if it's not a planned pregnancy, but if you are pregnant, and are keeping the baby, you SHOULD NOT take the pill. There is a warning right on the package. I don't know what the odds are that you could be pregnant, but I know from experience that it's totally possible. You really need to take that pregnancy test because if you are pregnant prenatal care is VERY important, and if you're not, it will ease your mind, and this scare might make you more conscious of taking your pill...I know I'm so much better about it now!!!

Yes! There is a chance you are pregnant. Yes, if you keep taking the pill it will hurt the baby and kill it. It's just like having a miscarriage i did that once and it was a mistake. I kept taking the pills and kept taking them....and i was pregnant and i didn't even know it...

You need to take it very regularly, as in daily, or you're at a high risk. They only work if you take them exactly as prescribed.

You might want to switch to Depoprovera shots. They are given to you every 12 weeks, and as long as you keep getting them at the right time, they are more effective than the pill, even if you took it correctly. In Indiana, it is required that you have a pregnancy test performed at the doctor's office before he or she gives you the shot. If it's not required in your state, definitely get one first.

Get over it. Take the test. Thats the only way you're gonna know for sure. Stop worrying yourself. Yes, the pills will hurt th baby. Why do you think you take them to prevent pregenancy?

I do not actually consider so, since I'm rather precise your frame sends off a hormone whilst that first egg will get fertilized. Also, sperm has a tendency to kill sperm from different persons. So almost certainly most effective one in all their stuff could live to tell the tale. I wager it is a type of matters wherein you are saying it is feasible simply since you cannot say it is surely not possible. But it is a type of "cleaning soap opera" matters lol.

What kind of BC are you taking? If it is the mini-pill and you are missing them or taking them late then it is not going to be effective anymore.

If you think you are PG, stop taking the pill and take a test.

If your periods are irregular, talk to your caregiver.
