Try to think of how the child will feel when they are in school if they have a really strange name. Other kids can be cruel. Try to pick a name that goes with your last name, that doesn't rhyme, but flows. I named my son Ryan Alexander. Nice ring to it, not an over-used name at the moment and normal.

why do you want a weird name for your child? Is this more about you or the child?

what I'm hearing you say is that you would like to burden your child with a name he/she will have to explain each and every day of his life.

I guess if I were to help you out, try picking scrabble tiles out of a bag and arrange them into a name that appeals to you. Maybe you could go for some obscure character name from some science fiction book or movie.
