I guess the computer is most necessary!
Man, I have so many items (we all do nowadays). TV, radio, CD player, iPod, computer, cell phone/PDS, etc.
I think I like just turning them all off and enjoying the quiet once in a while!

Laptop, because you can do almost anything!!! You can play games, listen to music, and more!!! And you can move it, unlike a computer, which sits in one place.
