Do's: Remember special anniverssaries,
Buy the gift from your heart not your wallet.
Stop trying to impress me, once you live with me, and love me. Be yourself, honesty.
Climb into the shower/bath with me
Light the damn candles, it why they are there.

Don'ts: Don't forget to call when you're going to be late.
Don't spend money we don't have on clothes or fancy dinners.
Let me use the bathroom in peace, stop barging in.
Replace the toilet paper
Don't forget to keep your pants on, and come home to me

My one big rule for ANY kind of relationship is honest communication. That reads differently depending on the situation, but that's my starting point.

So, I guess the "Don't" from that would be telling me one thing and doing another.

I have to have equality in all things no one has to be the b i t c h! it is disrespectful I dont want a b i t c h any more than I want to be the b i t c h. I want a man, an equal, a friend, a buddy, a pal, a companion.

Don't drag me to family events if your family is not 100% gay friendly or if you're not willing to call them out on their bigiorty and demand basic respect. And certainly don't expect me to play along with their issues or be your "friend". I'm your lover, girlfriend, and partner, and don't make me pretend to be anything less.
