lets say the person you voted for has not done the people any good would you vote for another party?

I vote based on performance, this country should not be a competition on republicn or democrat but who is getting the job done who cares what the party they are in. We see what little gets done when we put people in office just to satisfy the politial players.

I vote based on what the candidate says and what their track record is like, not by party. Sometimes it comes down to picking what I believe is the lesser of two evils and that may not be the candidate from my party.

Boy, have you said a mouth full here and I agree 136% and then some too.
I too have learned to vote for the one who will do more good for the country and not for the party any more.
I believe every person should have learned from the bullsh*t that we have all paid for in more lives than votes no matter how you look at it and thanks for bringing this to our attention now when it's just to important to ignore.
Better make that 156% and counting that I agree with you.
Anyone else going to make the change? Now's the best time to do so and the sooner the better for this great country of ours.

I agree. However, since I am more conservative than the Republicans, it's just about impossible that I will ever vote for a democrat. I have yet to vote for a non-republican. But yes, if an independent or whatever were to finally represent my staunch conservative views, I would probably leave the Republican in the dust. Well, this is actually a godo question..

I live in Britain and im a die-hard Labour supporter, as in im a Socialist. Blair, however, is possibly the worst thing since Thatcher, and i would rather emigrate then ever vote for the Blues.

The Liberal Democrats? Middle-class band wagoneers, i would also never vote Yellow.

So this year, im abstaining

Yes

And even asking a stupid question like that puts YOU on the National blue alert list.

You smurfs are brainless. Don't you realize that asking things like "Do you vote for the best ..." reveals that you are blue.

Redpublicans never say those things. Straight talk straight party lines.

Go big Red Go

I first check to see if the candidate has Bubba's syndrome. It's a disease of "poll"iticians. It causes you to point in whichever way the polls are blowing. If so, no vote.

Then I look at the party/candidate's platform. If there is too much discrepancy then no vote.

So far, there is only one candidate that gets my interest. If you are interested click on my profile (SPLATT) on the left.

I have never voted solely on the basis of polictal affiliation. I vote my conscience. That just happens to fit my political affiliation. I can't see giving America away to a bunch of terrorists, just to CLAIM there is peace.

I vote based on how the candidates feel about issues that are important to me.

ABE FOR PRESIDENT!

I am serious! Article II paragraph 6 and Article V "75% convention of the states" not legislature. THAT means we can petition.

READ MY NOTES and see that I mean PEACE!
