Most pregnancy test you buy at the store say wait 5 days after your missed period, but I would say most of them will read correctly after 2 or 3 days. I wouldn't test to early because you might get a false neg. I was 2 days late and I had a very faint line. I wasn't sure, but I took one again a couple of days later and it read plain. Everyones body is different, and someone else may be able to test earlier then others and get a correct result.

wait about week just to see if you are running a little late that month...if no period, take a test. You can take an early response test 5 days before a missed period, but I don't have any personal experience with that.
If you wait a week and the test is negative, wait another week. If you still don't get your period, take another test. You may have to repeat the wait a week and test process a little, for some women, it takes longer for the pregnancy horomone to build up in your system. Also, before you buy a test, check the level of horomone it can accurately detect - the lower the number, the sooner it will give you an accurate result (ex - if it reads 20, it will test accurately sooner then a test that can only read once the level is 100).
If you keep getting negatives and no period, you can call your doctor for a blood test. Good luck!

You can take it on the day that you were expecting your period, but it also depends on the pregnancy test that you use. You should read the box first. I got a positive result on the day that I missed my period.

1 day, or if you were keeping track of when you may have ovulated then it would be 14 days from that. If you were to still get a negitive 1 day after missed period then I would retest in 3 days. Good luck!

A pregnancy test is accurate even three days after you've become pregnant, probably long before you'd miss your period.

You can wait a few days. If it has not come within 4-6 days of being late, then take a test.
