I'm on the pill, and I missed one (I'm in my second week). I got my period the next day. This shouldn't happen with one missed pill! I messed it up a little last month (forgetting 2 in the 3rd week) so I just started this new pack, and I thought it would clear up, but now I got my period (lightly) after 1 missed!

HELP!

I'm not a doctor, but this happened to me and a doctor told me the hormones in the pills are in such small quanitity that with one missed pill this could happen. Don't worry. Just remember to take your pills Every Day!!!

You dont have to start a new pack because you forgot 2 days, be careful, i got pregnant when i missed 2 days of mine. If you miss one day then take 2 the next and you should be okay, but if you miss 2 then you need to use extra protection for 2 weeks and you should take 2 pills the day you realized you missed a couple days. You were supposed to get your period soon when you missed two and started a new pack...then missed one again, when you stop taking the pills your body starts to create the mucus/bloody lining of your uterus making you have a period once a month, your confusing your body. When you start missing pills then you will have spotting, if you continue on your pills it will probably stop in a few days.
If your having troubles remembering you may want to consider another form of birth control, something you dont have to remember every day...missing 2 days is very dangerous and you could become pregnant if not using another form of protection, that doesnt mean you should stop taking them now though, some women stop there pills when they miss a couple thinking they may have become pregnant up to 2 weeks after forgetting, it wont harm your baby even if you are pregnant and taking birth control...until you find out if you are or not.
Consider the patch (i hated it), an iud, an implant or the depo injection, ive done them all and only liked the depo and i'm staying on it, no having to remember, no period, and an injection every 3 mos is all it takes. Really.....think of trying something you dont have to remember every day, forgetting is not taking them correctly and your putting yourself at risk, its a waste if your not using them right.
