We call our mothers mom or mum what do you call yours? because when I asked a question about long car journeys one person said since you said mum i'm assuming your from the uk.
CAn you please answer my long car journeys question?

2. I call my mother Mom, Mommy
3. I can't answer your long car journey question cause you didn't state it in this question.
4. I don't know anyone from here who says mum. I would assume you were from the UK also.

I call her Mum, but I grew up in an old New England family. Most Americans will probably say Mom.

I am from the US. I called my mother Mommy and Ma. My daughter calls me Mom. Many people here in the south call their mothers Momma. Some people call them Mother. It all depends.

Im from the US so i say 'mom' but when i was little it was mommy. Usually people from the UK say mum (example the Harry Potter movies)

i was born in the us, bur raised in brasil. my mother is portuguese from portugal. i call her mamãe. it means mom in portuguese
