Read people's minds would you want to or would it drive you nuts knowing too much

well, in some ways i can already...i am very aware of my surroundings, and i watch what people do...i can read people very well....

I think it would drive me nuts. You would hear everything, like on the movie 'what women want'. But of course I would love to know what some special people are really thinking.
Can't have your cake and eat it too..

I'd be fickle. Sometimes I'd want to know what people were thinking (normally when the information would be most upsetting for me if my fears were confirmed - I'm masochistic like that) and sometimes I'd want to shut all the babble out and be alone with just my own thoughts.
I think mind-reading abilities would just be a pain in the rear without a compliment of mind control abilities to work in tandem.

Only for a little bit. I think it would drive me crazy all the time because I wouldn't ever be able to get any peace. However, being able to read my husband's mind wouldn't be such a bad thing, especially during arguments. LOL

Yes, it is a great advantage to be able to read someone's mind. Besides, it would help me deal with the empathic abilities I already have. Rock on.

I think you'd get used to it just like any other sense.
You'd learn through time with trial and error when to interact with people and when not to. You'd learn the art of subtlety.

Depends.... if I think they are planing something yes I would. If it would do the world good I would. But if its some one I do not even know I would not.

if i could control it then I'd use it once in a while (for important things of course! ;)), but if I'd hear what everyone was thinking all the time, I'd go bananas
