I lived through it, hon, and yes, I am aware of the debacles of rmn, but I must say, at least THEN the american people came to their senses, realized they made a huge goof by electing him and got him and his vp the ╟╢∑∟∟ out of there....NOTHING seems to be being done about the crimes "w" and his entourage are committing.!

Liberals - they never get tired of proving, with every single question, why they no longer matter in American politics... The best that they can do is trot out something that is more than 30 years old about a President who died more than 10 years ago...
Thank you again, for demonstrating so clearly that the liberals in this country have nothing to offer but a weak, impotent attempt to re-write history. They have nothing happening at the present, no hope or vision for the future, so all that they have left is to try to re-write history...

Did you know how stupid your questions are? While Nixon was a staunch anti-communist, his economic policies were moderate or slightly left of center. He was a so-called Rockefeller Republican, at that time the dominant wing of the party. The conservatives didn't gain power until the Reagan years and I could effectively argue that they don't control the party now.

Oh man. How dare he? He might have saved thousands of lives. What was he thinking?! Instead we had real thinkers draw out this war as long as possible, kill thousands, accomplish virtually nothing, and get us into more debt. Good thing Nixon didn't screw that up.

Eh, he did something far worse legally... he established the EPA which has taken land from farmers w/o compensation in the name of "some animal". Spineless wonder.

Any president that doesn't consider ALL options is not doing his job. Johnson probably considered them too.
