im not 12, but my brother is and he really likes the show and wants the DVDs of it. is it bad for him?

I think Beavis and Butt head is inappropriate, period. While I believe in an adults choice to watch what he or she wants, I get discouraged that someone wants to watch shows this this. When did ignorance and stupidity become something to brag about and display on television in any form of positive light?

I think it is totally inappropriate for a 12 year old. However, in the end it is up to your parents!!

that depends on what else he watches and/or what your parents are okay with. i don't think a 12 year old should watch that junk... but i did and my brothers, 2 who are younger then 12, watch things that are just as bad sometimes.

Kids that age mimic everything and so knowing this YES B&B are bad for any kids really and so is South Park while we are at it.

I don't think it's the best thing for him to be occuping his time. Why not ask your parents to watch an eposide. Then they're realize what mindless drivel it is, and they'll give him something better to do.

one of the best tv shows on mtv back in the day. my sister and i would sneak in the family living room and watch it late night on fridays when i was a kid. fun times!

My mother thought it was...that's why I never got to watch it in the '90s during its original run.

It depends on his maturity level. I think he should be okay watching it though. The parents not might approve though.
