I have heard reports that the women and children supposedly killed by Israel yesterday in the village of Quana (sp?) were really victims of the Hezbollah terrorists who brought the building they were in down 8 hours after the Israeli air strike.

,Residents in this region in Lebanon and specifically the residents of Qana were warned several days in advance by both Israel and Lebanon radio to leave the village

A Canadian UN officer serving as a military observer in the United Nations base hit by an Israel strike last Tuesday emailed his former commander that Hizbullah was using his UN post as a human shield. Major Paeta Hess von Kruedener was also clear that the Israel Air Force was not targeting the observers.

I seriously doubt that Hezbollah militia would be willing to simply martyr a bunch of unwilling civilians. For one it would be a lot easier just to draw Israeli fire onto a building with a rocket launcher or simply a group of militia men. However in the Arabic tradition martyrdom is considered far more acceptable and even desirable if for a cause that is great enough. Therefor it is possible that with the permission and blessing of the now deceased, staging such and atrocity to alienate Israel is not out of the question.

you offer NO PROOF of that at all. are you so anxious for that to be true that you'll just spread this rumor with no evidence?

that's pretty bad. the nazis did the same thing with their propaganda... how can you do this so easily? do you hate the lebanese so much? seriously... i at least have something beyond my twisted fantasies. did you make it up or are you just parroting it without verifying it? take some responsibility for things you say about dead people... you're the one still alive and cheering on their graves.

here's something for heroic liberal... it doesn't count if they warn civilians to escape and then bomb them on the road because they follow the instructions...

"The Israeli air force had been bombing civilian convoys, turning roads and tracks across the south into killing zones in an effort to weaken the Hezbollah militia. Earlier in the day, an evacuation convoy from a village to the southeast had been hit, killing three people and wounding 16. "

"He was adamant that the ambulances, with their Red Cross insignia on the roof, were clearly visible from the air. "I don't think there can be a mistake in two bombings of two ambulances," he said."

I heard pretty much the same thing. Also that the strike was 400 yards (almost 1/4 mile) from the building.

I consider the source biased in Israel's favor. So, unlike some here, I'm holding my judgment until there is confirmation from a less biased source.

The speculation was that either the HezBULLies were storing rockets in the building and one went off or that they deliberately blew the building up. Again, speculation.

It's possible. Another theory is that Hezbollah knew the women and children were taking refuge in that building, and deliberately fired rockets from next door and then ran into the building, to try and draw Israeli fire.

Death to all terrorists.

Harry is correct. It's a ploy that all terrorists use to make the other guys look bad. They have no regard for human life. So in a way, yes, Hezbollah killed all those women and children.

No, independant reports have found Israeli wreckage in the building from an American-made guided bomb.

Face it, Israel has once again carried out a direct war crime, the idea that 'Hizbollah killed these people' as mr Olmert believes is, frankly, Orwellian. Israel killed those people, Hizbollah did not

It wouldn't surprise me.

Hezbollah creates human shields, which is why many of the Israeli strikes have to be inside or near civilian locations. That is the goal of Hezbollah, as they are fighting a international political war too.

was 9-11 really an ISRAELI plot to get america into the middle east .
WERE they all members of an elite Israeli intellegence force cappable of document fraud and the real reason was to get america and saudi arabia to disagree and go to war over 9-11.
remember all the passports Identified them as SAUDI people and ISRAEl is affraid of the BUSH saudi connection .
THIS is the same logic you are spouting about hezbollah killing people and blaming Israel.
WAKE up and get a grip .END all war and military support of other nations .
IF they can afford help let them pay for it with land and oil .

No but I heard the attacks from Hezbollah were from these places, where woman and children were.

So naturally, Israel returned attacks on those places.

Why would Hezbollah purposely attack Israel from these places, knowing they would return the attack and kill many innocent people?
