My ex-mother in law hated me. She though I was the wrong race to marry her son (I'm hispanic, he is white). She would make fun of me because me because I was not " a country girl" but a city girl. When I delivered our son, the first thing out of her mouth was : "he doesn't look like my son at all!". She constantly and publically told me that I was going to burn in hell because of my religious preferences. She was mean and rude and humilliated me any time she could.

I'm sure that your stories don't top mine. I hope that you feel better now.

Good luck

My EX mother-in-law. Like how I emphasized the EX. The nut doesn't fall far from the tree. Anyways, my EX husband and I were having problems so he went to stay with her for a few days. We have 2 children together. I went over to drop the kids off to him. That psycho bi*ch came outside ranting and raving screaming she was going to kick my @ss. So I had to inform her that her trailer park trash @ss would have to grow some balls AND hell would have to freeze over before she would ever lay a finger on me. Needless to say, for the duration of our pathetic marriage I never once attended any family functions. But here is the kicker. We have been divorced for 4 years. And I talk to her more than my EX. We get along great now. What is this world coming too?

mines not the mother in law its the sister in law. my husbands sister doesn't work (while i do) she sits home and does nothing all day but smoke, when she needs money guess which brother she comes to with her hand out, (this is becoming a weekly thing.) it is causing so many problems in my marriage that im not sure i can handle it much more, my husband says he won't give to her anymore but the little con-artist sister always comes up with some bull sh*t for why she needs the money (my car doesn't have any breaks, i don't have money for the light bill...ect ect ect, its called get a JOB b*tch), but of course because she is family my husband helps her. oh and to add she is older than me and my husband and im pregnant with two kids but i take my a$$ to work.. Good luck with the in laws they can be worse than the out laws

My mother-in-law did not show up for my baby's christening and has made comments that the baby does not look like my husband. My parents treat my husband like their own son and I love that. I also have a sister-in-law who has been in our business since we started dating. If I buy something, she has to ask how much it cost. She makes a lot of rude comments. I have decided that these are toxic people who make me miserable and I will not allow them to occupy any more space in my brain. Good Luck.

My MIL has always wanted to be my best friend, but she's a seriously needy and annoying person. Several years ago when my mom (whom I was extremely close to) was diagnosed with inoperable, terminal cancer, my MIL actually said to me, "Maybe this will bring us closer." Now, I have excellent manners and can be friendly to my worst enemy, but you know that I will secretly hate this woman till the day I die.

Did she raise a son whom you are proud & happy to be married to? If so, don't hate her. You owe her.
