One of the last unspoiled places on earth. Central Laos. Unfortunately, it is an extremely poor country. Someday, perhaps within 10 years it will become a haven for Baby Boomers seeking tranquility with inexpensive living. Those of us who were there during the Vietnam War saw the great beauty and some of us today journey back and help the people in the remote villages.

Personally i would say a full moon and starry night. When i was a kid we slept on the terrace and watched the movement of the moon and the play of stars. When there was a shooting star my sisters and i would quickly squeeze our eyes shut and make a wish.I think that, nothing could beat the beauty of a starry night as also the scene of a sunrise or sundown against the backdrop of the sea.The best thing is you dont have to travel around the world for this!

Oh...that's a torturous question as I've been all around the world many times. So many beautiful places and to think I've only seen a fraction of what there is to see. But if I have to choose a few(I can't just choose one), I'd say Halong Bay in Vietnam and the vast Savannahs of the Masai Mara in Kenya.

The Norfolk Broads area in England. Its very flat, with large expanses of water, and somehow the light has a special quality that makes the landscape glow, the colours more intense.

Big Sur, in California. Simply amazing. Unfortunately, I haven't really traveled much, but of the places I've seen, this was absolutely the best.

Killarney, co kerry Ireland. It is amazing. I think it's the only place where it would be impossiable to get bored, there is so much to do outdoors, and plenty of places to have a drink and a laugh indoors.

Thailand. Or just about anywhere in south Asia. I like the Jungle-like feel and lack of many modern world complications.
