...my brother plays a lot of free online games, would that count as downloading because my internet package tells me that i cannot exceed a 1GB limit which if exceeded they will charge (a lot!). So are free online games counted as downloading when it says that the game is loading?

Do you think we are in trouble?

They don't care WHAT the source is - it's the TRAFFIC that cannot exceed 1Gb. Viewing, downloading it's all the same - it's data that is transferred to your PC.

So yes, if it's over that - BIG bill. But will probably OK as MOST online 'Flash' games are pretty small. A couple of hundred Kb normally.

Any information that is sent to your computer is downloading, whether it is a file (picture / music / program), flash instructions or html instructions for displaying a screen like this one.

I dont think you have anything to worry about on this.
thats just a speed thing. you can download all you want, as long as you have the space on your hard drive.
