I have a playstation,10-15 games and a couple of memory cards that I have no use for. What is the best way to sell them. We have a Gamestop in our area that will buy it. Or do you think I would get more money selling them on ebay / listing it in our local paper?

It's a PS1- I had to evict my roommate and they were left behind, so I'm not sure of the value, etc. I never got into playing that stuff

Try EB Games instead if you have one. You'd be lucky if Gamestop gave you 2 or 3 dollars for each of your games, regardless of how much you paid for it originally. EB Games is owned by Gamestop, but aren't quite as stingy. Is it Playstation 1 or 2? I know I tend to call a PS2 just "Playstation" and then everyone thinks I'm talking about the PS1. If it's a PS1, Gamestop and EB Games won't even take them. And if they do, you'll get even less for it. I heard them talking about it at the Gamestop near me when I went in for a giftcard. They don't take PS1 or N64 games because they can't make enough money off them to be worth it.

Try eBay or Amazon instead for the best prices, especially if they're pretty popular games. You can even try selling them in school or something. Ask around and see if anyone's interested.

Good luck!!

Gamestop is a rip off because they buy games for 1-2 dollars. Than they sell it for 50 dollars!!! I suggest sell it by ebay.

Ebay is always good, plus you get to charge for shipping and handling.
