The republican party is not stupid. They know about global warming. I consider myself conservative in many cases but I still believe we really need to take action against global warming. (Not the way Al Gore is doing though-that guy is nuts) The governator is right...there is scientific evidence that points humans as the cause of global warming.

This is probably a ploy to make him appeal to liberal California voters, if you will excuse the redundancy. The governator is becoming a true politician.

Please do yourself a favor, and DARE read "state of fear" by Michael Crichton. Not only is this an amazing thriller, but it sure shows a very interesting perspective ( don't skip over the Appendix's in the back

I think even the neo-cons are getting on board with the environmental trend. For one, consumming less oil means less money going to 'terrorist'.. ie.. Saudi's and all the other middle east oil countries.

i do agree. But sadly since our president is also a republican most of the republican party will stay with the president.

His party won't agree, but he has a rather liberal state that will back him on these decision.
