why do friends alwayz backstab you. is it for their fun or are they trying to tell you that they hate you and don't want to be friends anymore. can you ever recover from such pain and hurt or do i just get over it?

those are not really friends. u have to find people who u
1) feel comfortable with
2) trust
3) are supportive
4) help lift you up (vs making u feel bad about urself or others)
5) encourage u to be productive, healthy, positive
if ur current "friends" are not trustworthy, they actually are not real friends. i'd rather be alone than have people i can't trust around me. i would suggest keeping close, good relationships w/ ur family, and keeping urself accountable to be a good, positive, trustworthy person. that way u will have high expectations for people who can be ur friends, as well as be able to spot people who are negative and "bad apples". good luck, have an open minde, and be kind to everyone BUT be careful... a person can prove to you whether or not they are a good friend or not but it takes time.
u can recover from being hurt, but u just have to keep ur guard up around those kinds of people. some people are really "fun" to be around, but at the end of the day they are not good people, so just use ur judgement, go w/ ur gut and find people who are positive. be positive, happy and a good person, and u will attract others who are similar to you.

You can totally recover from the pain, but friends normally backstab because they are jealous of something and it feels good to just "feel superior"

My best guess is they are Jealous of you for some reason or another.
Girls are very catty.. I refuse to have any really really close friends that are girls.. I'll hang out with a few from work.. but don't make really close friends with anyone. Just bs'ing & maybe go out for a few drinks or a bite to eat.
Most my closer friends are guys... (I'm a tom boy & have more in common with guys when it comes to hobbies. lol :)
In high school, a supposed best friend of mine ended up getting drunk & getting my boyfriend of a few years drunk at a party..& sleeping with him!
I couldn't just blame her it does take 2 to tango!
I couldn't believe it. Well in someways.. She did me a huge favor & made me realize that he was a pig. I did take him back & he cheated again with someone else. She just opened my eyes on not to trust him so it was all good in the end.

that means they weren't real friends in the first place, this you can tell if they are not real frnds: when the good lord starts blessing u, u find ou who your real friends are!!!! just move on with your life. b4 i go let me warn you : hold on to your real frnds because if u lose them you'll never see them again. but the people that u don't like you'll never get away from, they are called hauntings and they get worse every time. I guarantee u that they'll be other ones but they'll stab you in the back even harder so watch out I'm still trying to get away from I've had him since the 1st grade and now I'm 21.

Some people backstab because theyre selfish. They actually might regret what they did, but chances are if they dont learn by their mistakes and carry on that way, they arent your friend.

if they backstab you then theyre obviously not a true friend.. but i guess it kinda depends on the situation. best thing to do is ignore it and dont let it bother you, you have better friends to concentrate on

if friends backstab you then that means they are not your friends. some friends do that because there jealous of your fab life and all they want to do is destroy your fab life and if you dont get over it they win and your fab life is a living nightmare

sometimes they are jealous of the things you have or the things you do, or maybe you should try to hang out with some other people because obviously the people back stabbing you aren't as friendly as they seem!

Friends aren't your friends really. There isn't anyone that you can trust. I wouldn't associate with these so called friends anymore. Remember the only friend you have is your wallet.
