Start > Shut Down > Restart.

When you shut it down it should come up with a window with a drop down asking if you want to shut down, restart, or something else (memory fails), click on restart and the computer will shut down for about 2 seconds then 'reboot'.

Unless of course you have a total system failure and you need the software to be reinstalled. If you are amending or adding software then sometimes it will reboot automatically, but you need to NOT have any other programs running.

Press start in the left bottom corner of the screen. You should see a button that says Turn Off Computer. Click that. Then click restart (which is the same as reboot). Your computer will turn off, then turn back on.

Go to start --> Shutdown --> select restart computer then hit ok

or hit Ctrl + Alt + Del then select with either mouse or arrow keys shutdown, then select restart

You can also hold down the power button on the "tower of the Computer" until it shuts off. THen you can hit the button again to restart it.

You can, (not recommended) uplugg it from the wall then plug it back several seconds later.

You can also if you have a obsessive cumpulsive dissorder open notepad and enter the shutdown command save as a bat file then place in your startup folder. Your computer will restart as much as you like

people have this idea that rebooting means restarting the whole entire system, which is not the case. to reboot is to turn off the computer and then turn it back on and let it reload. thats what a reboot is.

I'm assuming your computer is frozen?
Press the button you use to turn on your PC and hold it for 5-10 seconds. After it shuts off, press it again.

Or just pull the plug if all else fails. :)

Well, if you wanna take it back to another time, go to start menu then click on control panel. You'll see something that says system restore. When you see system restore you can take it back to any date you want to if it's in bold letters. You can even take it back to when you first got your computer.

The above record is sturdy, yet i ought to upload "selflessness"to it. you need to be keen to enable your mate to be thierself except that is damaging to the relationship. Faithfulness is likewise paramount. Infidelity, in any variety, is damaging.
