They cost so much because they are made of steel and not made of plastic like legos. Erector sets were around before legos and they were popular with the baby boomers. All the toys from that time period seem to be popular for collectors because people are trying to regain their youth. If you have ever seen the movie Sandlot, there is an excellent scene with an erector set in action.

An Erector Set is basically an engineering model that has been simplified to the point that a child can use it. They allow a person to construct from simple parts including moving joints, pulleys, and motors, virtually anything somebody can imagine. If you have enough parts that is. They're expensive because there are a lot of parts in each set and each part has to be precision made.

yes we have heard of the erector set, i had one and the things i made out of it were something else. they were a big hit back in the day and that's why they are valuable today and why they cost so much and the things you can build really do work.

Yes, they are great. My son has several. They are only a little more expensive than Legos. I didn't know they were a big deal, they are fun though, and they last forever if they are taken care of.

Because they were cool back in the day. They were like metallic Lincoln logs; you can make stuff out of them. Nowadays, they might fetch up to a lot of money.

i'm unsure with regard to the babies, yet they do make a mid-sized newbie stripper pole for teenage ladies. i offered one for my pre-youngster, and she or he loves it. i would not hardship with the gadgets, because it is going to basically detract from what she's extremely solid at. i might shop encouraging her to apply the pole, and consistent with hazard only sooner or later, she'll artwork her way as much as a effective activity at Sin city Strippers.
