In all reality have you ever seen those leathery 45-ish women that look like beef jerky? Have you ever seen the smooth skin women that are years older than they look?
The sun causes soooo much damage that, for example I was a volley ball state player and a track runner by 17 years old I developed skin cancer.
There is many many kinds of skin cancer,,, I no this is not what you asked but bare with me I am getting to it.
Do you have Freckles?. Beauty marks? Moles? Sun kisses? Call them what you want. These are all sun damage. No matter what is (cool) or (sexy) This darkening of skin is still just like cooking a turkey. The turkey gets golden brown when fully cooked. Our skin is just the same, when we tan we are cooking our flesh. slowly but still the effects end the same. Just a little more prolonged (if your lucky)

No matter were you live get informed!!! If you want to go out and cook in the sun. Before you do this Look up OZONE find out what the percentage is at were you live and as long as its not in dangerous level then its a little safer to go out. when the ozone has those gaping wholes over your area it will tell you dangerous conditions and to stay out of the sun were ever possible during what ever hours indicated.

I really hope you read this. People today are really not informed about what is going on. So to share it, is important. The more who no the better chances it can change.

The lower SPF's allow you to tan while protecting you from UV rays. If you want to be protected, but still tan try SPF 30 or lower, but don't go lower than SPF 15.
