Hi. I am a coin & currency dealer in the Midwest. Your $20 Federal Reserve Note is worth $25 or so in used condition, and perhaps $30 if it is crispy uncirculated. They made a lot of notes during that time frame, and occasionally you will see one surface in circulation out of someone's old hoard. It's neat, and collectible, but not overly rare just yet. Hold onto it for a while and perhaps the value might increase. Be sure to keep the note flat, preferably in a plastic sleeve (the kind that is open at the top & you can easily remove the note from... do NOT laminate the note or put it into anything that will adhere to the note-it will ruin it)... and don't fold it as creases detract from the note's condition.

Hope this helped.

take it to a coin dealer, they will tell you how much it might be worth.
