I would write a check for $300.00 to tithes first thing.
Then I would give $300.00 to the women's shelter to which I am affiliated.
Then I would give the rest to my husband as a "gift." God has given him such a wonderful job, but he sometimes works so much that he has no "Him" time. Sometimes men define themselves by their jobs and need to just have their minds rest, reunite with God, and strengthen themselves to be strong Christian men.
My husband loves to fish and golf, but he rarely gets to do either. I would arrange for a fishing trip where he could learn to fly fish---he's always wanted to do that. Then I would arrange airfare and hotel in Scotland so he could golf at St. Andrews for a couple of days.

$3000 really isn't that much money to go crazy with, I'd probably buy a bag and a couple pairs of shoes.
