Its a valid question, i feel the bigger point here though is actually not Bush is a role model for his daughters but that they are role models for young girls in the US. If Bush was doing his job (as a president and a father) he would educate them and make sure they set a good example for others. His leadership stinks of 'do as i say not do as i do'

Are you serious???? The acts of his daughters have no bearing on his ability to run the country. And do you think for one minute that any other presidential offspring were any different? Chelsea Clinton used to have the Secret Service agents buy her alcohol!
Bottom line is they're all just kids like anyone else's kids. The fact that the children are irresponsible does not mean that their parents are as well. Poor parents perhaps, but that scarcely extends into their professional lives.

Bush's status as a great president or leader has nothing to do with the actions carried out by his daughters. It is a far stretch, to say the least, that their actions have anything to do with him being a bad role model.
Peer pressure and the pains of maturity often lead to young adults doing things that they know their parents would not condone or tolerate. Many do things in college that has nothing to do with how they perceive their parents.
Your point is a weak one and not well-thought out.
