if you are planning on doing serious distance running, you should go to a specialty running store. there someone can help you figure out which shoe is right for you, because everyone runs differently. i run cross country and track and a lot of my team mates and i wear asics, and they are incredibly comfortable.

NIKE SHOX! Best running shoe that I have ever used. They are easy to break in and wont break the bank.
