It sounds like you may have a worm or trojan horse. This happened to my computer awhile back and Norton never caught it. I believe I got it through AOL instant messanger. There are directions online for how to get rid of such things, but this happened to me like two years ago...Good Luck!

Yes, they are rather cunning cons asking you to buy System Doctor. It depends on what your 'homepage' is. It maybe that the above one has supplanted your home page (rather than 'blocked' it).
Both sites are lying when they show error messages about supposed virus and adware attacks. Be careful not to click on the Close or Cancel buttons but to close popups with the X in the top right hand corner (I don't think anyone can hijack that).
Get Adaware and Spybot S&D (both free) and run a scan with both to see if there are any nasties on your PC, then reset your home page to what you want it to be.

you need to change your home page as it has been hijacked. This is via tools, internet options. once done make sure that your anti spyware is upto date and run it again. I use spybot which is free. Hope this helps

If you don't have adware software installed such as Norton or Mcafee then you are screwed. You probably have a worm or virus bugging your system and you better install something fast.

Strange!?
Error 404?
That's DNS not found!
Which means the Server is shut down!
What was your Home Page?
If it was MySpace or some such thing, then the message is right.
MySpace has shut down its Server for repairs.
It keeps coming on and off.
Cheers.

Try Adaware and Spybot S&D - both free and can be found via Google - they are quite good at getting rid of unwanted things

clean your system with avast anti-virus, ad-aware and spy bot.
If you are still having issues, clean your hosts file (usually in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc ) so that it only has a localhost reference to 127.0.0.1 and go into Tools->Internet Options and set the home page on the general tab.

Sounds like your computer is already super infected. You need to go to www.security.kolla.de and download Spybod S&D. Then you are going to need to run it, do a registry clean, and also manually delete those programs who run those. If all else fails, you may need to do a clean reinstall.

I just checked and Lavasoft has an apparent fix for it.
Here's the link to the forum information:
http://www.lavasoftsupport.com/index.php?showtopic=2271
And here's a link where you can download their program:
http://freeadware.noadware.hop.clickbank.net/
t's freeware and I have used it myself.
Good Luck!
