If you're not liberal when you're young, your heartless and if you're not conservative when you're older, you're brainless.

I really do think this is true.

Why not word your question more positively:

"Young people are primarily liberal, older people conservative, with some exceptions."

I believe this is true. There's nothing like a family, a job and a mortgage to make one think more practically about things rather than idealistically.

Winston Churchill certainly had a point when he said that. I think this is pretty much true. I'm heartless and I know it! And of course, all you need to do is look at liberal politicians for the proof of the latter statement.

That is attributed to Churchill. I think it is true. I am now 48. I am far more conservative then I was when young, but I still tend to be liberal when it come to domestic policy, and damn near Right Wing when it comes to foreign relations. So, yes, I think it is true.

Naw all points of view are in relation to ones perspective and life experiences. If you were raised to eat bugs you would see this a normal/ but in time and experience you would probably try something better. LIfe and politics are like that. ohhh pass the cockroaches> :)

How about this?

If you think people fit into neat little categories, you're an idiot no matter how old you are.

I agree with the first answer. By labeling ourselves, we are dividing ourselves. I'm Ron and I refuse to be sterotyped. My advice is for you to do the same.

Yes.

All the points are true.
But exceptions can be there for the last statement
