I have full Ontario G driving license, and six years of experience of frequent driving auto, but I never driven manual in my life - would it help to take a special course to learn it?, how long does it take to learn?, would a good driver be able to learn it right away? (if no - then how come none of it is included in driving exams)

It depends on how hard you make it on yourself to learn. And it doesn't matter how good a driver you are or not, no you will not learn right away it takes practice.I think in my opinion it's best to learn to drive a manual first, that's what I did.The only way to learn is to start practicing. Good Luck!

Go rent a car with manual and find an empty parking lot. If your young it won't take but a few hours, the older you are the longer it will take.
