I am glad to see all the "sheeple" have come out to spew out the typical brainwashed responses. It is very obvious that you are all afraid to face the reality that is around you. You are living in a fascist state. You cannot even begin to understand how close you are to living under martial law. You would rather crucify someone speaking out against your holy messiah bush than actually listening and using that waste of space between your ears. What makes you believe that are living in some dream world run by people that have your best interest at heart? You are nothing more than pawns on the gameboard. But I guess you will figure that out when you have an RFID tag stuck inside you against your will. You will not be thinking all this is so much of a conspiracy theory then when you witness the complete destruction of the constitution and bill of rights which I doubt you could even recite a single line from.

Dixie Chicks are self-centered garbage, like Cindy Sheehan.

This is what artists have always done, this isn't new. Everyone speaks out when they are finally given a microphone. Ditzs like Paris Hiltion and Britney Spears are the rarity not the norm, but be aware what you consider a serious issue isnt serious for all, some ppl could naturally careless about politics but are HUGE animal rights advocates. Take Pamela Anderson, just cause shes not marching with Micheal Moore does not mean shes "not woken up" she has woken up and her world is animal abuse.

The music and video industries have often been at the forefront of social issues. Music videos like this and statements like those from the Dixie Chicks (and numerous other celebrities) don't surprise me at all and I appreciate that someone is willing to speak up.

The greatest thing I ever saw was Stephen Colbert being Colbert 5 feet from the POTUS.

Actually, no. These are people we admire for a specific entertainment skill. It does not give them any greater knowledge or insight about complex political situations. In fact, many entertainers actually have less education and connection to the "real world" than the general public.

I think it is great for them to care and be involved as individuals, but I think it is an abuse of their ability to get media expeosure for them to spout off about politics.

I also think it is REALLY rude to their audiences. We have to put up with the stresses of the real world all day - our little escape is a concert or movie. I don't appreciate having that little place of escape ruined too. I think it is very unprofessional of entertainers to bring that kind of personal agenda to a performance.

They are MUSICIANS. I don't care what world they wake up in.

I don't have a clue who/what Disturbed IS, but the Dixie Chicks are left wing idiots who can't see past their recording studio. They sing well though.
