I always see really cute outfits in magazines and stuff but at my school, people make fun of anyone who's not wearing exactly what everyone else is wearing. I stinks because there are some really cute ideas but you don't see everyone wearing them but I don't want to be made fun of. I know this sounds lame but it's hard to be like everyone else in order to not be made fun of.

I thought I was a real trendsetter in high school. I wore EVERYTHING that no one else wore. Had a different hairstyle than everyone else and even dyed the sides of my hair pink. I looked cool and to this day, 21 years later, I'm still known as a fashionista. Everyone else wants to do it but no one has the guts. Go for it!

It really is..but you can't stifle your personality for the sake of not getting made fun of. Who cares..as long as you are comfy, and think you look good..then tell the rest of them to shove it..they are all stuck shopping at department stores and looking like everyone else..fine..have some personality and branch out.

They may snicker the first day, but will go shopping for similar clothese that night.
