I have a 6 GB Ipod mini and put podcasts on it. Why not?

You should be able to if you have updated iTunes software, but it might be a seperate track file instead of listed on a seperate menu like on the 4th generation ipods. You might want to try to update the ipod software but hooking up your ipod to you computer and looking for software updates.
