There are possible fines, but most likely a judge would give a date that it needs to be done by before imposing a fine.

You might be responsible for any $$$ the other party has incurred as a result of you not refinancing (did they lose a loan and have to pay a higher interest rate, etc....)...but it depends on the Judge, why you haven't refinanced, and your state.

Jail. Fines. The Court will make you do it and the longer you delay the more likely the punishment will be harsh.
