remember seeing Roger Moore look up for a halo above his head after first introducing himself as "Bond, James Bond". I swear I saw him do it, but I've never seen him do it in any other releases of the movie...

So do you also remember him looking up for his S.T. halo? I ask because I don't think it's in the current versions out on tape or DVD.

Yes, I've seen it, too. Moore was acknowledging his previous role as Simon Templar in "The Saint."

"Live and Let Die" was Moore's best Bond movie. All the other Moore/Bond movies turned Bond into a comic instead of the debonair English agent.

the reason was moore used to play a charecter (simon templar)
the programme was called the saint so looking up for a halo he was acknowledging he was bond and no longer the saint

Ofcourse,it's one of my favourite James bond films
i saw it plenty of times on that satellite channel ;MBC 2
