Perl is a mixture of many programming paradigms and hence learning whole Perl at one go might be difficult. I have found the books "Learning Perl" and "Programming Perl" to be good, and to be read in that order.

Do a search on Google for perl tutorials. You're bound to find much more then you could shake a stick at.

Or, I'm sure your local library has several books you can check out. I prefer books because its a little more tangible and easier and they tend to be much more thorough.

If you're serious about Perl and plan on using it often in the future then I would seriously recommend purchasing a used Perl beginners book from Amazon.com. I did the same with a PHP book three years ago and I still use it to this day.
