SO WHAT IF BEING GAY IS "NATURAL". THAT'S NONE OF YOUR BUISNESS.WHAT THEY DO BEHIND CLOSED DOORS IS THEIR BUSINESS. SO WHAT IF THEY CAN'T CREATE OFFSPRING. AS MANY CHILDREN AS THERE ARE BEING ABANDONED, THEY CAN ADOPTED. SO MANY PEOPLE ARE SAYING IT'S WRONG BECAUSE IT'S AGAISNT THE BIBLE BUT THAT'S NOT THE ONLY SIN. PEOPLE WANT TO PROTEST HOMOSEXUALITY BUT NOT RAPIST AND MURDERERS. AND PLUS NO ONE IS ASKING YOU TO PREACH BECAUSE NOT EVERYONE IS CHRISTIAN ANYWHO.
I BET IF GOD CAME BACK AGAIN SAID THOSE WHO HAVE NOT SINNED CAST THE FIRST STONE NO ONE WOULD BE THROWING ANYTHING SO THOSE WHO SAY THAT ARE HYPOCRITS. GOD SAYS LOVE THY NEIGHBOR . WHY ISN'T ANYONE QUOTING THAT?
HONESTLY, I THINK PEOPLE NEED TO LEAVE THEM ALONE. YEAH, GOD SAYS IT IS AN ABOMINATION BUT NOW WHO APPOINTED YOU TO PREACH ABOUT IT. WHEN JUDGEMENT COMES LET GOD HANDLE WHAT HE HAS TO HANDLE.

People don't have to hate Gays. They choose to hate gays and anyone else they hate for that matter. Hatred is a choice. Being Gay or Black or left handed or blue eyed is not.

1. I know of no Christian that hates gays. It's the lifestyle we hate becuase as you said it is a sin. It is in the Bible.
2. To think all people hate gays is perhaps i either misinterpetation on your part or just your percepton of it.
3. If you know this then why do you continue to sin against God?
4. Listen Carefully next time you watch the news. I see plenty of people protesting murders and rapists. Again I think is is simply your perception of it. Becuase you are gay (obviously) you don't see anything EXCEPT persection against gays. And there are many groups that do this - not just gays
5. Christains do love gay people. We just do not love the lifestyle and we are told not to 'be entangled again with the yoke of bondage' and also that light and darkness do not mix. We are told you have to serve 1 master only. It's up to you to choose light or darkness. You can't have both.
6. All Christians are called to "go into all the world and preach the Gospel in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit" This is the Great Comission - so therefore we are ALL called upon to preach and God is the One who is calling us.

Goodness! What brought out such hostility?
First of all being gay is not natural. A man and woman together is natural.
I agree with you as far as the adopting goes. There are so many children that need loving parents rather than grow up in Foster homes, going from one house to the next. They need stability.
I would rather see a gay couple adopt a child than to see that happening.
People DO want to "protest" rapists and murderers, and prosecute to the highest degree.
You are VERY right about no one on earth being able to " cast a stone", we are all sinners, whether we want to admit it or not.
And finally, I agree with you again.....God will handle what He has to handle. It's not for us to judge people. That's God's job.
So, try to lighten up a little, and have a good day.

Hello Koko, many people feel that it their job to hate a person who is sinning rather than to hate the sin. Many people do hate the sin and not the sinner. This is exactly what God does, He hates the sin not the sinner because sin hurts us and other people.
Guess what? We are all sinners. We all have the prospect of homosexuality in us. Have you ever stolen anything? I have. Have you ever lied? I have. Have you ever murdered someone? I have. God tells us in His Word that if you have ever hated someone, you have murdered.
We are all born separated from God, with a sinful nature, due to Adam's disobedience. The Good News is that God provided a way back to Him.
He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to the earth to live, suffer, die on the cross, and live again. For us. Our sins were taken on by Jesus so that we won't have to pay for them. He did it!
So, you see everyone sins, However if we love and accept Jesus, we are forgiven. For those who don't accept Him, yes, sadly, there will be judgement.
We all need Jesus. Acceptance of Him as our Lord and Savior and repentance (turning away from our sins) is what is required.
Homosexuality is a decision. it is a perversion of the sex that God intended between 1 man and 1 woman in marriage for their enjoyment and creation of children.

Because there are narrow-minded and judgemental people out there. While homosexuality may be against what the Bible teaches, so is judging others! I am not homosexual, nor do I personally know anyone who is, but I accept them as they are. I completely agree with you about the adoption issue. I think it would be far more healthy to raise a child in a happy homosexual home than in a dysfunctional heterosexual home!

I love your question and the obvious thought you've put into it. I think some people hate gays because people seem to fear, and then hate, anybody who is different from themselves. Maybe it goes back to our early caveman ancestors. Back then, if you didn't have a healthy fear of that strange tribe next door, you might end up being eaten for dinner!
I happen to think that God made all kinds of different people, including gays, and that there's nothing wrong with being gay. The books in the Bible that condemn gays also condemn eating certain foods and wearing clothing made of two different fabrics. If we believe that, then cotton-polyester is sinful!
I think God has limitless love for each one of us, straight or gay.

Haven't you figured out that some people are just ignorant morons who can't handle anything that is different than themselves? Also, many so called "Christians" pick and choose from the Bible. They quote the scriptures that are convient or that seem to support their idiotic, bigoted opinions and ignore the really important ones that tell us not to judge each other and to treat others the way we want to be treated!

People don't generally accept things that are "different" very easily. In my opinion is simular to the interacial problems of generations before us. As time progresses more people will learn to accept that not everyone is the same and there's nothing wrong with being different.
In the end we're all human, we all make mistakes, and we can all do our part to make the world a better place to live in.

There's lots of reasons why people "have" to hate gays, if they find themselves hating them. They all basically boil down to genes and upbringing.
Of course there are lots of us, who don't feel like gays need to be hated. And this is because of our genes and upbringing.
Your point (not your question) is correct, people ought not be concerned with what others do in private. But your refence to god mythology is a bit odd. How can you think of god mythology as real in face of this great contradiction. The bible says both kill gays, and love thy neighbor. Check out http://www.godisimaginary.com/index.htm.
