I'm sure with an old shotgun, a propane tank, and some careful ingenuity you can have yourself a flamethrower. Sounds like a fun project. Need a prop man?

Gun shows may offer some style of flame thrower ,they make shotgun shells that throw flames also,not sure what it would do to the weapon.
