No... didn't he get the bible belt vote because of his views? don't you think that he got the Ohio vote because of the anti-gay marriage vote? If the point of running for office is getting elected, he's a ******* genius.
I don't agree with Bush, and I wouldn't vote for someone like him, but I don't think that my disagreeing with him makes him dumb, or myself smart.
I rather think that what proves him dumb is the fact that he can't pronounce nuclear.

Actually, Bush's policies follow his political beliefs. Beliefs that led people to elect him twice.

But he's never 'gay-bashed' at all. That's a lie.

He IS for big government, just like the liberals. This is the biggest criticism of him from the conservatives.

When he signed the first bill federally funding embryonic stem cell research on pre-existing lines, he said he would veto any bill to federally fund any more destruction of embryos. Many people agree with this position.

His foreign policy, which includes war, is in keeping with the will and tradition of America.

None of which makes him 'dumb' just because you disagree with him (and which doesn't make you 'smart').

Just calling him dumb means you have no legitimate, coherent or logical argument against his policies, IMO.

The president has never done any gay-bashing, big government is bad for all, we have stem cell research, we are just not funding embryonic, we are not alone in this war on terror, nor our position on Iraq. I believe you would do yourself justice by educating yourself on the issues instead of just repeating some other ignoramus's views. You owe that to yourself and your future.
This president is doing the right thing for this country, he always has, and he always will.

Bush's politic are not what makes him dumb. It is his stubbornness to stay with the original plan - "stay the course" and his unwillingness to reevaluate something that is clearly not working that makes him dumb. Stupidity can be defined, when an individual actions cause a loss to someone else and provide no gain or a potential loss to the individual. I think that describes Bush.

I agree with him on stem cell, gay bashing, but his foreign policies, war definitely make him look not very smart president on the world level.

hold it right there! im behind bush and yes there are things that he does that doesnt make sense but the stem cell. i think people need to back off on it!
if you know anyone that could benefit from it you wouldnt have put that in your question. altzheimers patients need it. and i watched my grandma suffer for 10 years so if you seriously want to go bashing bush dont bash him on that.

Those things prove he is dumb. He is actually dumb because he lacks basic intelligence.
