I don't feel that I am wasting time. If I can help just one person from one of my answers that is not a waste of time. If I can make one person smile or give someone the correct advice, that is not wasting time. I don't have small children, retired and I also feel that I am doing something productive.

I just started this a week ago, by accident. Last night I thought,
I am wasting time. Now, I think NO, I am growing a butt, not
doing 'nothing' after all.
Don't get me started on double negatives. The word nothing
is the most ridiculous word in the world. I wrote an essay on the bathroom wall in high school about 'nothing'. Best work I ever did in school I tell you. That would be the 'high' school tho.

I prefer to think of it as sharing knowledge. If all of these questions and answers could be combined into a database, imagine how we could enrich the knowledge of the world.... or not.
I don't think the question I asked about laundry was the greatest contribution I could make to the world's knowledge, but it was at least interesting to see the answers.

Not really............you never know when something you might put in an answer will help someone or touch their lives in someway. That is not a waste of time.
